Angel High School Uruli Kanchan Academic Year 2016-2017 Achievement of the School (2016 - 2017)

1.The very first tenth standard batch of Angel High school secured 100 % result with 35 distinctions. Madhura Kunjir, our first ranker secured 95.06%.

2.Sharad Malhar Folk Dance Competition was held on 8th January 2017 at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch in which small group [ Ati vishesh gat ] consisting of 47 students participated and won the first prize.

3.Sharad Malhar Folk Dance Competition was held on 8th January 2017 at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch in which big group [ Ati vishesh gat ] consisting of 104 students participated and won the third prize.

4.Sharad Malhar Group song Competition was held on 5th January 2017 at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch in which big group [ Vishesh gat ] consisting of VIII and IX std students participated and won the second prize.

5.Sakal Natyavachan Competition: Skit in Marathi titled Desha che Maankari, was awarded second prize.Skit in English titled: Elderly The Real Torch Bearer, received the second prize and both the awards were handed over by famous Marathi Actress Prajakta Mali.

6.YMCA Elocution Competition organized by YMCA: Ms. Vaishnavi Dixit of Class IX won the consolation prize in Marathi Elocution Competition.

7.YMCA Interschool Singing Competition organized by YMCA: School won the 2nd prize and were awarded with Trophy, Cash prize and Certificates.

8.YMCA Interschool Dance Competition organized by YMCA: School won the first prize and were awarded with Trophy, Cash prize and Certificates.

9.Rotary Club - Pune Ms. Sharvari Darekar of Class IX won the consolation prize in Marathi Elocution Competition. Z.P. Sports Tournament

10.Subrato Football [Under 14 Boys team] :- was held on 27th July 2016 between Angel High School and Potdar High School and our school won the match by 2-0.

11.Open Football Tournament [ Under 17 Boys team ] 

I) The first match was held on 31st July 2016 between Angel High School and YCM school and our school won the match by 3-0 and the second match was held between Angel High School and Potdar High School, Wagholi and our school won this match too with 3-1. II) Under 14 Boys Match was held between Angel High School and Potdar School and our school won with 2-0.

12. Z.P. Shaleya Football Tournament [Under 14 Boys team] 

I) Was organized at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose School, Fulgaon, Pune on 19th August 2016. Angel High School competed against Potdar School, Ambegaon and won it with 3-0. II) [Under 14 Girls team] :- Football tournament was organized on 22nd August 2016 between Angel High School and New English School, Indapur and our school won with 1-0. III) [Under 17 Girls team] :- Angel High School competed against Neera Public School, Neera and our school won the match with 2-0.

Discuss F Volley Ball F Lezim school won it by 3-0. The final match was held between Angel High School, Uruii Kanchan and Angel High School, Loni Kalbhor and our school won the match by 1-0.

II) [Under 17 Girls team] :- Final match was held between Angel High School, Uruii Kanchan and Angel High School, Loni Kalbhor on 30th August 2016 and our school won by 2-0.

14. Z.P. Nehru Hockey Tournament 

I) [Under 17 Girls] - Was held on 30th August 2016 between Angel High School, Uruii Kanchan and St. Sebastian School, Daund and our school won by 3-0. Amongst all the schools who had participated, Angel High School Uruli Kanchan secured second place. II) [Under 17 Boys] - In the first match Angel High School, Uruli Kanchan competed against Sinhgad Springdale School, Narhe, Ambegaon on 30th August 2016 and our school won by 3-0. III) In the final match Angel High School, Uruli Kanchan competed against NSB school, Fulgaon and won the match by 2-0.

15. Shaleya Hockey Tournament - [Under 17 Boys]

I) Was held between Angel High School and Sinhgad School and Angel High School won the match by 2-0. II) The second match was held between Angel High School, Uruli Kanchan and St. Joseph School, Khadki on 23rd November 2016 and our school won the match by 2-0. Ill) In the final match Angel High School competed against New Millennium School on 24th November 2016 and our school won the match by 3-0. IV) [Under 17 Girls] - The first match was held between Angel High School and PCMC School on 23rd November 2016 and our school won the matchby 2-0.

16. St. Joseph School, Pashan Open Hockey Tournament - [Under 14 Girls]

I) In the first match Angel High School competed against Anglo Urdu School on 22nd November 2016 and our school won the match by 1-0. II) The second match was held between Angel High School, Uruli Kanchan and St. Joseph School, Khadki on 23rd November 2016 and our school won the match by 2-0. III) In the final match Angel High School competed against New Millennium School on 24th November 2016 and our school won the match by 3-0. IV) [Under 17 Girls] - The first match was held between Angel High School and PCMC School on 23rdNovember 2016 and our school won the match by 2-0. Best player : Sanskruti Jagtap.

17. Z P Sikaai Martial Arts Competition at District Level was held on 23rd August 2016 at Z P School Indapur. Angel High School won 12 medals The following students won these prizes:

I) Dorge Sujeet won 3rd position in Shot put. II) Under 14 girls: Devkar Priya won 3rd position in High Jump.

19. Sakai Schoololympic Taekwondo Tournament organized at Phartade Stadium, Kharadi, Pune: Our school won three Bronze medals.

20. Sakai Schoololympic Football Tournament (Under-14 boys) first match was held between Angel High School and Nirmala High School and our school won by 4 goals.

21. Geeta Chanting Competition: Three students from the school was selected for this competition and Parthasarthi Shenoy Manik secured a noteworthy place by winning a prize in this competition. 22. Sanskruti Jagtap of Grade IX had been to Ahmednagar and was selected for the state level hockey tournament.

26. Samarth Somnath Vitkar won 3rd prize prize in Om parivar Drawing competition.
